This dish is an all time family favourite and everyone will enjoy it. It’s a quick and easy recipe so it’s ideal for when you want something delicious in next to no time. We’ve chosen penne because the hollow centre and the ridges allow it to hold the sauce just a bit better, making your meal even tastier Just top it off with a sprinkle of parsley and some grated parmesan to enhance the flavour.

300g Chestnut Or Button Mushrooms Sliced.
1 Onion Finely Chopped.
200g Creme Fresh.
200g Dried Penne.
1 Small Bunch Flat Leaf Parsley Finely Chopped (Optional).
Heat a few tablespoons of oil in a large frying pan and fry the onions for 2 minutes.
Add the mushrooms and garlic paste and fry for a further 3 minutes.
Cook the penne in boiling salted water for approximately 10 minutes.
Add the creme fresh, mushroom stock and dried porcini to the mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes stirring constantly.
Serve in bowls with a little parsley sprinkled on top and grated parmesan if desired.
